The New Year!!

Welcome Back!! Although I have been sad about the lack of snow, the break was wonderful. I hope everyone had a peaceful, restful holiday season. We are back to work as usual and are creating new things in the classroom. Plans for penguins were delayed until now which we are reading Tacky the Penguin. All the students are studying about the life cycle of a penguin and designing their own cute creature. We are comparing similarities and differences between our penguins and learning an easy way to help us describe them. Ask your students about the "speech catepillar" and see if they can remember our chant! Also check for a new newsletter in the student's backpack.
